Shot my final gig of 2014 in Audio on Saturday night. It ruled. That venue has really grown on me this year: it sounds amazing, its got great lights, its an atmospheric little sweat box and its really close to the trains I seem to spend so much of my life on. Guerrilla Radio are quite possibly the best tribute band on the inexplicably successful Scottish tribute band circuit. Why? Because they don’t just play the songs they live, they’re clearly living them. Their tribute to Rage Against the Machine has much more in common with genuine inspiration than it does dedicated imitation.
Also, the 90’s ruled for music much more than the 80’s did.
